GLOBAL TRAINING FOUNDATION FUNDING SOURCES

GTF seeks funding from foundations, government grants, and private organizations interested in contributing to course development. Once courses are created, scholarships can be made available at the direction of the funder. An instructor-led course costs $300 to teach, and results in a completed project (business started, website built, etc..) and a certificate. Workforce Development programs and courses are customized for the organization, community, or economic development entity. The Goal Setting and Motivation course is free and open to the public. It is also a prerequisite for some courses.

The research underpinning much of the cutting-edge employee ownership content is ongoing and currently being published. The entire grant proposal concerning CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS OF EMPLOYEE OWENRSHIP is open and available for prospective grantors.

HOW ARE THE COURSES DEVELOPED?

GTF uses widely accepted quality assurance protocol for online course development. This assures that courses are:

  • Well-structured with clear and measurable learning objectives
  • Contain content and activities appropriate for the learners
  • Written in terms that are easily understandable for the widest possible audience

Each course contains:

  • Well-researched content
  • Objectives, activities and assessments that are aligned with one another.
  • Assessments that verify outcomes have been achieved
  • Opportunities for engagement with, and feedback from, the instructor
  • Technology that supports the learning process
  • Accessible (ADA compliant) course structure and materials

WHO TEACHES THESE COURSES?

GTF instructors have achieved proficiency in the subject. For instance, web developers teach the website design course. Some require feedback – as in the case with business plans. Others require editing of content and grading of exercises. For projects that require large digital assets (like pictures and video), GTF provides a Dropbox site for collaboration.
